Four associates from Elmhurst Extended Care have been named as
certified Eden mentors at Elmhurst Extended Care

The new Eden mentors are (clockwise from top right): Heather Siravo, Joan Nelson, Debbie Lambert, RN, and Adele Paradis. Eden mentors are associates who distinguish themselves through their work to create better living environments for our Elders and ourselves. The mission of the Eden Alternative is to improve the well-being of Elders and those who care for them by transforming the communities in which they live and work. The vision is to eliminate loneliness, helplessness and boredom.

The Eden Alternative was founded in 1994 by Dr. William Thomas, a Harvard-educated physician and board certified geriatrician.
