    Willow Bend (for Short Term Rehabilitative Care) is a caring community designed for individuals who are recovering from surgery or suffering an illness and need rehabilitative care.

Janet Doyle from Elmhurst Extended Care was recognized with an “Honorable Mention” award at the RI Generations Annual Symposium held at the Crowne Plaza on November 11. Read more

Dr. W. Vincent Perrelli named medical director at Elmhurst Extended Care
Vincent Perrelli, MD, CMD, is joining Elmhurst Extended Care as medical director. A board-certified geriatrician, Dr. Perrelli has served for more than 10 years as the Director of Geriatric Outreach Services at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Mass. He previously held the positions of Director of the Geriatric Center at Waltham Hospital and Director of Primary Care and Geriatrics Services at Westborough State Hospital. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed residencies at Boston City Hospital and Peter Bent Brigham Hospital. Dr. Perrelli has held a number of teaching positions including Clinical Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
